Clay joined Lake Country Church of Christ as our full-time Pulpit Preacher in February 2016. He is a native of Hondo, Texas and a 2003 graduate of the Southwest School of Bible Studies in Austin, Texas. Clay also serves as Associate Director, and Faculty of Bible for the Southwest School of Bible Studies.
Clay and his wife Carlie were married in March of 2000 and have been blessed with four children, Artie Rose, Annabelle, Trinity, and Cole. Clay has been preaching full time since July of 2002, and has previously preached for the Johnson City church of Christ, Johnson City, Texas, and the MidTown congregation in Victoria, Texas.
Clay is active in ministries serving local communities and sharing the gospel around the world through evangelistic campaigns. Clay has served in prison ministry, reaching inmates from across the U.S., and has participated in foreign campaigns in Jamaica and spoken on a number of brotherhood lectureships.
