19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen
1) What is a true disciple of Jesus?
Desires to be like Jesus.

You must be taught correctly about the NT church, that there is only one church. And baptism: Scriptural Baptism. Colossians 2:12
2) Marks of a disciple
Doers of God’s Word; not simply hearers. Disciples follow the teaching of Jesus Christ. Matthew 7:21, John 13:34-35, John 15:1-8, 2Cor13:5
3) Costs of discipleship
Jesus must come first. Will also face ridicule & persecution.
4) Rewards of discipleship
Eternal life, heaven.
